My name is Rhys, and I’m a Strength and Conditioning Coach with over 10 years of experience helping athletes and clients at all levels achieve their goals. As a coach, physiotherapist, and former lecturer in Strength and Conditioning, I bring a comprehensive approach to training that combines expertise in performance, injury prevention, and long-term athletic development.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked with individuals and teams across Academy Football, Elite Running, Netball, Basketball, Rugby, and Australian Football, each requiring tailored, sport-specific conditioning strategies. Currently, I work with youth footballers and runners in both one-to-one and online settings, designing customised programs that address the unique physical and mental demands of their sports.

As a physiotherapist in the West Midlands, I have experience in rehabilitation and prehabilitation for both athletes and the general population. This allows me to develop programs that not only improve strength and performance but also prioritise injury prevention and recovery, ensuring clients can continue to progress safely and sustainably.

On a personal note, I’m a dad to two young boys, which gives me a firsthand understanding of the challenges of balancing family life with personal fitness goals. This perspective shapes my approach to coaching, where I work closely with each client to develop realistic, adaptable training plans that fit seamlessly into their lifestyle. I believe that with the right guidance, anyone can make consistent, meaningful progress, even amidst life’s busy demands.
